A double identityWe were commissioned to design a new identity that would unite these two very different aspects. And it was when we met their partners, Carlota and Adrià, that we saw the common denominator in their human quality: while they believe in the documentary genre as a tool for social transformation, they offer a good service production out of trust and familiarity.
We translated this idea to an identity that, despite being built on common values and the same typographic system (based on the anti-racist posters of the 1960s in the United States), takes on two different tones. The documentary part makes use of a serious tone of voice, black and white palette and photography. The service part, uses a humorous tone based on ‘inside jokes’, color and illustrations by Albert Tercero.
The website has a very simple structure that reflects the separation of both worlds from the very beginning: the homepage, divided into two halves, invites you to choose one, from where you can access the other at any time via the sidebar.
