NOOM BOOKS
An independent publisher of emerging artistsThe identity, based on the use of black and white in positive and negative reflects the idea of what is visible and what is hidden. Neue Haas Grotesk font gives all the strength to the name and the work of the artists –and, applied to large bodies, conveys the personality of the project. The symbol, drawn by Guim, represents Félicette, the first cat that has ever travelled to space.

The project has two editorial lines: on the one hand, the catalogues, that accompany the artists’ exhibitions and which have a uniform format, design, structure and circulation and are numbered by hand. On the other, free publications, where the work and the dialogue with the artists determine its form and contents.
The website is the element where the publisher’s identity is most present. In addition to showing the catalogs and offering the possibility to buy them, two circles located in the upper corners allow access to the visible or invisible content of the publisher: its authors and artists. The photos, taken by Lluís Tudela in the salt mountains of Cardona, ressemble the lunar landscape.
