Our goal was to design a piece that, in addition to documenting this compilation, had value in itself and reflected the character of its content. Its materials and finishes (hard cover covered in fabric and a stamped shape that suggests the shape of the notebook) contrast with the mix of languages that can be found in the interior –which include Chamo’s work, process images and documentation.
Our goal was to design a piece that, in addition to documenting this compilation, had value in itself and reflected the character of its content. Its materials and finishes (hard cover covered in fabric and a stamped shape that suggests the shape of the notebook) contrast with the mix of languages that can be found in the interior –which include Chamo’s work, process images and documentation.
The yellow cover, the blue guards and the red thread and headbands give character to the piece. And, in turn, they contrast with the natural tone of the interior, where offset paper and classic typography provide warmth and give importance to the image.
